Open Road Touring Program

The Elora Singers is considered one of Canada’s most acclaimed professional chamber choirs. GRAMMY and JUNO-nominated, The Elora Singers are earning national and international attention like never before. David Vernier of Classics Today has said that The Elora Singers and conductor Noel Edison should be declared “national treasures” by the Canadian government. A choir of this calibre should be heard around the world! The Open Road Touring Program is an ongoing fundraising initiative with the mission of sending The Elora Singers out on the open road on various local, national, and international tours. Once you have experienced the musical splendour of The Elora Singers, it becomes clear that this choir must be shared. The Open Road Touring Program has made it possible for The Elora Singers to reach audiences at the annual Waterside Summer Series on Amherst Island, in our nation’s capital at Christ Church Cathedral, and internationally at Carnegie Hall in the heart of New York City. In 2017, the Singers will embark on a fall tour of Canada’s Maritime provinces. In 2019, the Singers will head across the pond on a sensational tour of the United Kingdom. Without support for our Open Road Program by our patrons and sponsors, these touring opportunities would not be possible. Please consider joining a special group of supporters who make the open road possible for The Elora Singers!

The Elora Singers Open Road Touring Program is made possible by the generous support of our patrons, in addition to funding from federal and provincial grants. We invite you to consider supporting our 2017 Open Road Tour Campaign this Sesquicentennial year, a tremendous year of celebration and opportunity for The Elora Singers and all Canadians!
