KIRSTEN FIELDING

MEZZO SOPRANO

Kirsten Fielding started her professional choral career at the age of 9 singing at St. Paul’s Cathedral, London, Ontario. She currently sings with The Elora Singers, The Toronto Mendelssohn Choir, Musicus Bortnianskii, and The Tallis Choir of Toronto. She has recorded with many of these groups on projects that include the Grammy-nominated Elora Festival Singers Eric Whitacre CD and The Toronto Mendelssohn Choir’s Grammy-nominated Messiah. On stage, selected credits include The Narrator in Joseph and the Amazing Technicolour Dreamcoat (Met@Toronto, St.Anne’s); Val in A Chorus Line (Curtain Call); Miss. Stacey in Anne of Green Gables (Red Barn); and Anybodys in West Side Story (Scarborough Music Theatre)

FUN FACTS

Kirsten made it to the top of Mount Kilimanjaro.
She likes to jump off/out of perfectly good things (bridges, airplanes.)
